Sam Houston’s Last Will and Testament

Sam Houston’s Will. Some highlights:

"I wish my sons early taught an utter contempt for novels and light reading."

He gives his sword to his son, on the condition that "If any attempt should ever be made to assail one of these(the Constitution, the laws and Liberties of his country), I wish it to be used in its vindication."

Other than that, there are a whole lot of similarities between what we write and what’s here.
